Andrés Arámbula studied classical dance at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey and he became a dancer of the Danza Contemporánea as part of the group Origen de Monterrey Compañía de Danza Contemporánea. He was a member of the Ballet de Monterrey as a dancer and choreographer for many years.
Arámbula has lived in Mexico City for the last 20 years and has been a part of the Compañía Nacional de Danza and is now an active dancer, teacher and choreographer for Taller Coreográfico de la UNAM.
He has given classes in different schools and studios of dance like La escuela de Ballet del Valle, Studio Ema Pulido, La Cantera, among others. He has given classes to companies and ensembles like Serena Danza de Puebla, Compañía de Danza Tania Pérez-Salas, CEPRODAC Compañía de danza Contemporánea CDMX, and BACEM Compañía de Cámara de Morelos.
Currently, Arámbula is a teacher at Taller Coreográfico de la UNAM, Compañía Barro Rojo, Contempodanza, Escuela Ballet de San Jerónimo y Academia del Ballet de la Ciudad de México. He has been a teacher at Escuela del Ballet Folklórico de México since 2002.
