Ricardo David Galindo Reyes is a multi-instrumentalist musician, mainly in the traditional Mexican music genre. He studied Percussion Performance at the UNAM Faculty of Music, Communications and Electronics Engineering specializing in acoustics at the IPN and Musical Education at the Cuicanzin Academy.
He has worked as a musician with the Amalia Hernández School of the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico and Silvia Lozano's National Folkloric Ballet of Mexico on international tours accompanying dance groups by the C.I.O.F.F. representing his country. He is currently the musical director of FuSon, Los Agraristas Mariachi Tradicional and Son de Asfalto, he has also collaborated as a musician and sound engineer in projects such as Extrañame María and Chunun by Alejandro Flores, as well as violinist of the group Café Tacuba. Many of his recordings have been created for the archival purpose of the Institute of Anthropology and History, he has also composed music for plays, video games, collaborations as a session musician and presentations in renowned forums inside and outside the country. He currently teaches music at the preschool and primary level. |
